SEND

Main School SEND Provision

Mrs S Goudie is the school's Special Education Needs & Disability  Co-ordinator. (SENDCo)  She is responsible for ensuring the needs of pupils are identified early and the appropriate support put in place.  Mrs Goudie is the first point of contact for any SEND queries.

As part of the requirements of provision for children with Special Educational Needs and those with Disabilities, Local Authorities are required to publish their ‘Local Offer’ and schools must set out the specific provision and support available.  Our SEND Information Report, containing details of our school provision and our SEND Policy is available to view on the SEND & Medical Policies Page in the Policies Section on this website.

If you would like to discuss the provision for your child, please contact the School Office on 01553 828348 to arrange an appointment or via email on office@terrington-st-clement.norfolk.sch.uk and mark your email for the attention of the SENDCo.

Specialist Resource Base

We also have a specialist resource base for pupils in West Norfolk with Speech, Language and Communication Needs.  The children who attend have to be referred by their main registered school following a recommendation by a Speech & Language Therapist.  Attendance at our main school does not guarantee a placement at this facility and our pupils do have priority.  The provision provides a temporary placement of up to 4 terms where pupils attend for 4 days a week and then attend their home school on the remaining day each week.  More information can be found in the tabs on the left hand side of this page.
